Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• Active professional license in VA and/or MD (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCP) or eligible for licensure.
• Commitment to high-quality mental health care.
• Ongoing professional development including CE.
• Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong ethics and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
• Ability to manage time and complete documentation efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to each client.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance authorizations.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, NPs, dietitians, admin staff, and fellow therapists.
