Job summary

Alcanza Clinical Research, LLC is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide counseling to patients enrolled in PTSD, depression and anxiety studies within a multi-site research network. The role requires a Master’s degree in counseling and an active clinical license in the state of work, with preference for bilingual English/Spanish applicants.

The position emphasizes adherence to HIPAA, strong documentation in EHRs, and collaboration with clinical teams to ensure protocol fidelity

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling required; 2+ years of counseling experience with PTSD, depression, and anxiety preferred.
• Active, unrestricted licensure as a mental health counselor (LMHC, LCSW, LPC, or similar) in the state of work required.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meets with patients to provide initial and ongoing counseling sessions per study protocols.
• Conducts initial and ongoing assessments as needed.
• Maintains records of client meetings and progress in the electronic health record system.
• Follows all safety protocols and completes sponsor-required training and certifications.
