Job summary

Alcanza Clinical Research is expanding its behavioral health team and seeks a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide counseling for participants in Psychedelic, PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety studies. You will conduct initial and ongoing sessions, document progress, and ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of sensitive information.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in counseling, active LMHC/LCSW/LPC license in the state of work, and the ability to work with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or similar; 2+ years in counseling with PTSD, Depression, Anxiety.
• Active, unrestrictive license as a mental health counselor (LMHC, LCSW, LPC, or similar) in state of work.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meets with patients to provide initial and ongoing counseling sessions according to study protocols.
• May conduct initial and ongoing assessments.
• Maintains records of client meetings and progress.
• Follows all safety protocols.
• Complete sponsor training and meetings to obtain rater certification and re-certification according to protocols requirements.
• Attend and complete all company trainings and webinars as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of subjects, customers and company information.
• Foster teamwork and build partnerships within the organization.
• Perform all other duties that may be requested or assigned.
