Job summary

Healing Strides Counseling in Towson, MD is seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team. You will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, guide clients through crises, and help address maladaptive behaviors with evidence-based approaches.

This role offers flexible scheduling and the possibility to work from home portion of the time. Candidates should hold a master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field and be licensed (e.g., LGPC, LCPC, LCSW-C).

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.
• Current licensure in your field (e.g., LGPC, LCPC, LCSW-C, etc.).
• Experience with children/teens preferred; strong communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake assessments
• Provide individual, couples, family, and child therapy
• Create individualized treatment plans for each client
• Document patient information and treatment progress
• Adhere to facility and licensing standards
