Job summary

Thrive Behavioral Health in Silver Spring, MD is seeking social workers and professional counselors with Maryland LGPC/LGMFT/LGPAT/LMSW licenses to provide outpatient mental health treatment. Most sessions are in-person at the clinic, in Montgomery public schools, and in the community, with some virtual duties.

The role is full-time, requiring about 25–27 sessions per week. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will perform individual, family and group therapy, diagnostic evaluations,

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license as LGPC, LGPAT, LGMFT, LGDAC, or LMSW in Maryland.
• Graduate degree required.
• MD licensure from Maryland board(s) required by start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to individuals, families, and groups.
• Timely documentation of sessions.
• Collaborate with Prescribing Team, Intake Coordinator, Front Desk, and Clinical Supervisor to develop treatment plans.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
• Represent Thrive at schools or other engagements.
• Complete paneling for different insurance agencies.
