Job summary

Hands On Health Associates, LLC is a community-focused outpatient behavioral health clinic in New York seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist (Licensed or Limited Permit). You will diagnose and treat mental health and substance use disorders, teach communication skills, and guide clients through crises as part of a supportive team.

The role offers supervision toward LMHC, LMSW, and LCSW licensure, flexible scheduling with minimal weekend work, and opportunities for training and advancement

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician eligible for LMHC, LMSW, LCSW or equivalent (as applicable).
• Minimum 1 year experience in OMH/OASAS settings.
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Russian fluency required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake assessments for individuals, couples, and families.
• Provide mental health therapy and substance use services.
• Create individualized treatment plans for each client.
• Use evidence-based treatment approaches for group and individual therapy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans.
• Conduct regular patient outreach and follow-ups.
• Adhere to all licensing standards and facility policies.
