Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to provide professional counseling and therapeutic services to individuals and groups experiencing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges in a co-occurring mental health and substance abuse setting. The ideal candidate will assess clients' needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and support clients in achieving improved mental wellness and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate care.
Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with ethical standards, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.
Participate in case consultations, supervision, and professional development activities.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure (e.g., LPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT).
Experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis management.
