Job summary

Positive Change Counseling Center in California is hiring Licensed Psychologists, LMFTs, LCSWs and LPCCs for in-person therapy roles based in La Mesa, CA. The position offers flexible scheduling, strong clinical support, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time W‑2 employees.

Starting at $40/hour with bi-weekly pay; compensation scales by license level ($40–$60 for Master’s, $50–$75 for Doctoral).

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license in CA (PsyD/PhD, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LPCC)
• Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage & family therapy, or related field
• Experience with evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT)
• Ability to provide therapy independently
• Comfort using EHR and telehealth platforms

Responsibilities

• Conduct bio-psycho-social assessments and develop treatment plans
• Provide individual, family, and/or couples psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities
• Maintain an active caseload (Full Time: ~5–6 daily; Part Time: ~3–4 daily)
• Complete timely clinical documentation and adhere to licensing standards
• Participate in supervision and team meetings as required
• Maintain ethical practice and compliance with company policies

Positive Change Counseling Center (PCCC) Overview

Positive Change Counseling Center in California is actively hiring Licensed Psychologists, LMFTs, LCSWs and LPCCs to join our growing team! PCCC offers the opportunity to build a caseload around your strengths and specialties while providing collaboration opportunities with likeminded clinicians. Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of bio‑psycho‑social needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, family, and/or couples outpatient psychotherapy services using evidence‑based modalities
• Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goals
• Complete timely and compliant clinical documentation
• Maintain an active caseload of approximately 5–6 clients per day (Full Time) with a minimum of 25 clients per week
• Maintain an active caseload of approximately 3–4 clients per day (Part Time) with a minimum of 15 clients per week
• Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as required
• Adhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policies

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted license: Psychologist (PsyD or PhD), LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LPCC in California (Active & Registered with BBS/BOP)
• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
• Strong background in evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT)
• Ability to provide therapy independently
• Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms
• Experience conducting psychotherapy with specific populations (children, adolescents, trauma, couples, etc.)
• Experience in outpatient or group practice settings
