Job summary

Selftalkcounseling in Charlotte, NC seeks a licensed mental health clinician to provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy using CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches for diverse clients addressing anxiety, depression, relationships, trauma, and substance use.

You will conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and document progress while collaborating with psychiatrists and other clinicians.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
• Current license as LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LCAS, or Associate Level.
• 1-2 years of outpatient mental health experience.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platforms.
• Professional Liability Insurance.
• Experience working with teens, couples, and older adults.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Life-Changing Therapy: conduct individual, couple, family, and group sessions using CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches for diverse clients.
• Lead Clinical Excellence: perform comprehensive assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and maintain detailed documentation.
• Collaborate & Grow Professionally: work with psychiatrists, case managers, and clinicians; engage in supervision and case consultations.
• Engage Your Community: lead workshops and participate in outreach programs to reduce mental health stigma.

Responsibilities/Tasks

• Provide Life-Changing Therapy: Conduct individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions using proven treatment methods including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches. You’ll work with diverse clients addressing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and substance use concerns.
• Lead Clinical Excellence: Perform comprehensive assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and maintain detailed clinical documentation. Your clinical judgment and therapeutic skills will guide clients toward meaningful recovery and growth.
• Collaborate & Grow Professionally: Work alongside psychiatrists, case managers, and fellow clinicians in a supportive team environment. Participate in clinical supervision, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities that advance your career.
• Engage Your Community: Lead workshops, participate in outreach programs, and represent our organization at professional events. Help reduce mental health stigma while building valuable community connections.

Pay:

Starting at - $45 / session
Fully Licensed - starting at $60 / session
Rate is based on experience and KPIs
