Job summary

Advanced Correctional Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Health professional to screen detainees and provide individual or group psychoeducation and skills-based interventions. Under supervision, you will monitor behavioral health, coordinate with custody and medical staff, and support segregation care plans within a detention setting.

The role requires a Master’s in a Behavioral/Social Science, CPR certification, and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a Behavioral/Social Science field is required.
• CPR certification must be obtained prior to hire and maintained.
• Hands-on or online certifications are accepted.
• Current licensure with clinical specialty is preferred.
• Must be able to practice independently.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, provide behavioral health screening of detainees referred by facility staff or prescreening.
• Provide individual and/or group psychoeducation and skills-based interventions.
• Assist custody and medical staff in monitoring behavioral health.
• Coordinate with custody and medical staff for treatment of detainees with behavioral health concerns.
• Monitor and assess therapeutic support of segregated and isolated detainees.
• Coordinate with county behavioral health services for continuity of care and discharge planning.
