We seek a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LPC or LCSW) to provide essential mental health services within a Piedmont Regional Jail setting, including assessments, therapy, and treatment planning.

You will work with medical staff to ensure comprehensive, compliant patient care and maintain detailed records.

Qualifications

• A current, valid state licensure as LMHP in Virginia.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nursing, or related field preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years of healthcare experience.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in correctional or regulated environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mental health services including assessments, therapy, and treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records.

Title: Licensed Mental Health Professional: LPC or LCSWLocation: Piedmont Regional JailStatus: PRNSalary:$38-$48Job Summary:The Licensed Mental Health Provider will deliver mental health services to patients in a correctional healthcare setting, including assessments, therapy, and treatment planning for individuals with mental health disorders. This role will ensure the delivery of evidence-based care, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate with medical and clinical staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
