Description

Our clinic is looking for a caring mental health therapist dedicated to providing the best possible therapeutic service to our patients. You'll be responsible for conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans with clear goals and objectives, offering crisis intervention when needed, and following up with patients to ensure they receive optimal care.

The ideal applicant will have 1-3 years of clinical experience treating mental health patients and hold a current LMHC license (licensed mental health counselor). If you're interested in advancing your mental health career, apply today!

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one therapy to clients
  • Conduct assessments using medical records, interviews, observations, and collaboration with team members to determine client mental health status
  • Create individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Offer follow-up care, crisis intervention when necessary, and maintain communication with referral sources
  • Complete documentation promptly, with notes submitted within 24 hours
  • Respond promptly to referrals and maintain dependable attendance; frequent cancellations can negatively impact clients
  • Maintain clinical boundaries and adhere to ethical standards
  • Participate actively in our team culture of empowerment and collaboration
  • Develop specific therapy plans with clear goals for individual patients
  • Monitor patient progress regularly and provide appropriate follow-up care
  • Assist with crisis intervention as needed
  • Recommend community services or specialists for patients and families in need
  • Assess patients' mental health status using medical information, interviews, observations, testing, and collaboration
Qualifications
  • Strong clinical skills and adherence to ethical standards
  • Reliable, compassionate, and self-motivated
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with mental health patients
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or related field; master's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience with mental health patients
  • CPR and BLS certifications
  • Current, unrestricted LMHC license or equivalent
Compensation

$50,000 - $80,000
