Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LPC) to deliver individual and group therapy across age spans in healthcare facility settings in Georgetown, SC. The role is contract–full time with a 40-hour week, paying $33 per hour.

The practitioner will administer assessments, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and help develop care programming as required by contract standards.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Mental Health Practitioner or LPC in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsibilities

The Licensed Mental Health Practitioner/Licensed Professional Counselor provides individual and group therapeutic services in a variety of settings across the age span and works collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. The Licensed Mental Health Practitioner / Licensed Professional Counselor administers an assortment of assessment tools and develop programming as needed to assist in the treatment of a variety of behavioral disorders and disabilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensed as a Mental Health Practitioner or Licensed Professional Counselor in state practicing required

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
