Job summary

CHE Behavioral Health Services seeks Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs) to join our clinician-led, APA-approved behavioral health team in New York. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM, no nights or weekends, and a steady caseload.

You'll review referrals, conduct brief therapy, and update treatment plans while collaborating with nurses and other providers. Excellent benefits accompany ongoing supervision and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree is required.
• Active LMHC license is required; we do not accept associate or limited licenses.

Responsibilities

• Review schedule, check referrals, and note changes in residents' conditions.
• Meet with residents for brief therapy sessions (support, coping skills, mood, adjustment).
• Complete initial assessments and update treatment plans for new or ongoing residents.
• Collaborate with nurses, rehab staff, and providers to discuss care needs and behavioral concerns.
• Document sessions and required notes to meet compliance and billing standards.
• Plan follow-ups with family as needed.
