Gotham Enterprises Ltd. is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for a full-time remote/telehealth role serving Iowa clients.

The position offers a Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule with a competitive salary and full benefits. As an LMHC, you will provide counseling for anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns, document case notes, ensure safety, follow Iowa licensing requirements, and collaborate with clients to set therapy goals.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa LMHC license in good standing
• Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Experience providing therapy or counseling services
• Strong understanding of assessments, treatment planning, and documentation
• Strong communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients for scheduled counseling sessions by video
• Review current concerns, background, and relevant clinical history
• Help clients identify areas they want to work on in therapy
• Provide counseling for emotional, behavioral, and situational concerns
• Keep session notes and other required records current
• Revisit the direction of therapy when a client's needs change
• Identify risk concerns and follow established safety procedures
• Follow Iowa licensing, confidentiality, and professional requirements

What This Position Is About

This role is focused on working directly with Iowa clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, and other issues affecting everyday life. As an LMHC, you will guide counseling sessions, help clients better understand what they are experiencing, and determine what should be addressed as therapy continues. You will also keep each case properly documented and respond appropriately when concerns become more serious.

Main Responsibilities
