Job summary

Gotham Enterprises Ltd. seeks a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for a full-time remote/telehealth position serving Iowa clients.

You will conduct counseling sessions by video, assess concerns, and guide treatment planning while maintaining thorough documentation. The role requires an active Iowa LMHC license, a master's degree in Counseling or related field, experience in therapy, strong communication, and solid time management.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa LMHC license in good standing.
• Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience providing therapy or counseling services.
• Strong understanding of assessments, treatment planning, and documentation.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients for scheduled counseling sessions by video.
• Review current concerns, background, and relevant clinical history.
• Help clients identify areas they want to work on in therapy.
• Provide counseling for emotional, behavioral, and situational concerns.
• Keep session notes and other required records current.
• Revisit the direction of therapy when a client's needs change.

Full-Time | Remote / Telehealth
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits

What This Position Is About

This role is focused on working directly with Iowa clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, and other issues affecting everyday life. As an LMHC, you will guide counseling sessions, help clients better understand what they are experiencing, and determine what should be addressed as therapy continues. You will also keep each case properly documented and respond appropriately when concerns become more serious.

Main Responsibilities

• Meet with clients for scheduled counseling sessions by video
• Review current concerns, background, and relevant clinical history
• Help clients identify areas they want to work on in therapy
• Provide counseling for emotional, behavioral, and situational concerns
• Keep session notes and other required records currentRevisit the direction of therapy when a client's needs change

• Follow Iowa licensing, confidentiality, and professional requirements

• Active Iowa LMHC license in good standing
