Job summary

Behavioral Health Link is seeking licensed behavioral health professionals to join our mobile crisis response teams in Bibb County, GA. The role delivers face-to-face clinical assessments and rapid crisis response in community settings, 24/7.

Candidates must hold GA licensure (LCSW/LMFT/LPC or LAPC/LAMFT/LMSW) and possess CPR certification. Positions include weekend/evening shifts; benefits include healthcare, PTO, mileage reimbursement, and 401k.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited school with a valid license in Georgia (LCSW/LMFT/LPC) or associate level license (LAPC/LAMFT/LMSW).
• Valid CPR certification required (via ARC/American Heart Association/Health and Safety Institute).

Responsibilities

• Serve as first responder providing community-based clinical assessment.
• Provide rapid response to children and adults in behavioral health crisis.
• Operate 24/7 across homes, schools, EDs, and other settings; respond quickly and compassionately.

Available Shifts

• Sunday through Wednesday 12pm to 10pm (Ft 40 hrs)
• Wednesday through Saturday 12pm to 10pm (Ft 40 hrs)

Position Overview

Serve as first responder, providing community-based, face-to-face clinical assessment, rapid response to children and adults with behavioral health conditions, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in an active state of crisis. This service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Mobile Crisis care is provided in community settings including, but not limited to homes, residential settings, other treatment/support settings, schools, hospital emergency departments, jails, and social service settings. The ability to respond quickly, professionally, and compassionately is required.

Requirements

Education & Credentials:

• Master’s degree from an accredited school with a valid license in the state of Georgia as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC (preferred), or an associate level license (LAPC, LAMFT, and LMSW).
• Valid CPR certification is required. You may obtain certification through organizations such as the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or the Health and Safety Institute.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum one to two years’ clinical behavioral health experience.
• Experience in assessment, crisis intervention and stabilization skills and familiarity with mental health, addictive disease, and Intellectual or Developmental disability service delivery system required.
• Bi-lingual preferred

Travel Requirements

• This is a 100% mobile response position that requires a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• First responders must be able to drive in a car for the duration of their assigned shift, if necessary.
• First responders must be able to drive at any time of day or night, and do so safely and without restriction for length, duration or condition of the drive.
• At times, driving in heavy traffic or other adverse weather conditions may be required.
