Southern Health Partners seeks a Full‑Time Mental Health Professional at Door County Jail (Wisconsin). A master's degree and active Wisconsin licensure (LPC/LCSW/APSW) are required.

The role provides assessments, treatment planning, individual therapy, and group interventions within a correctional setting. The position emphasizes collaboration with nursing staff and community resources, discharge planning, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active LPC, LCSW, APSW, or other applicable Wisconsin behavioral health licensure required.
• Experience conducting behavioral health assessments and crisis intervention.
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Experience in correctional, forensic, community mental health, substance use treatment, or crisis services is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete mental health assessments and ongoing behavioral evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that promote recovery and emotional stability.
• Provide individual counseling and therapeutic interventions.
• Lead psychoeducational and process groups focused on coping skills, trauma, recovery, and emotional wellness.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, providers, correctional personnel, and community resources.
• Assist with discharge planning and continuity of behavioral healthcare.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Respond to behavioral health concerns with professionalism, compassion, and sound clinical judgment.
