About Wellness Rooted Counseling, PLLC

We’re a small, fully virtual private practice focused on supporting clinicians who want to stay active in the field without the pressure of a full-time caseload. Our practice is especially welcoming to military spouses and partners who need flexibility, guidance across state lines, and a practice that adapts to life—not the other way around.

We offer a compassionate, ethical, and personalized way to build or maintain your practice—whether you're growing into full licensure or simply want to keep your skills sharp.

What We Offer

• Fully remote work (or in-person sessions, if you have your own office space)
• Schedule flexibility: choose your clients, set your own hours, and decide your own session rates (minimum $100/session)
• Transparent compensation based on your needs and goals. We strive to have our contractors keep between 50-70% of their session fee.
• HIPAA Compliant Electronic Health Record (EHR) system access for scheduling, documentation, billing, and virtual sessions.
• HIPAA Compliant Email Address
• HIPAA Compliant Client Portal for secure virtual sessions from your phone or computer
• Discounted supervision or consultation from a PhD-level, NBCC-certified supervisor (WA & PA)
• Free or low-cost CE credits through NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider, The Creative Complement Company, LLC (ACEP #7708)
• Supportive guidance for military spouses navigating licensure and relocation challenges
• Small-practice feel with direct access to the practice owner for support and mentorship
• Documentation examples, templatesand customization options.

The Ideal Candidate

• Licensed clinicians (LPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.)
• Therapists seeking to maintain a small, manageable caseload (as few as 2–3 clients per week)
• Clinicians balancing other life priorities- Parenting, school, military moves, or additional jobs make a full or part-time case load caseload challenging
• Professionals interested in eventually building their own private practice but wanting mentorship and support now
• Individuals with a strong sense of independence and responsibility for managing their own schedule, documentation, and client care
• Counselors committed to ethical, high-quality care with a collaborative and growth-oriented mindset
• Those willing to actively market themselves and grow their caseload at a comfortable pace
• Must follow all state licensure and location laws when practicing
• Pre-licensed clinicians must be actively working toward licensure in WA or PA
• Contractors must maintain an active caseload—if inactive for 30+ days, your contract may be paused
• 1099 contractor position: session-based pay only; administrative work is unpaid
• You source and manage your own caseload (we support marketing, but referrals are not guaranteed)
• All compensation terms are transparent and tailored to your goals and needs
