Required Education and Licensure: Minimum of a master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work or marriage and family therapy. Unrestricted Wisconsin license required (LPC, LCSW, LMFT). In-training applicants will not be considered at this time.
We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Behavioral Health Therapist to provide psychotherapy services to a wide variety of clients. This provider will perform work involving the clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental health needs of clients of Insight Counseling & Wellness, LLC. This position works closely with the client to develop the appropriate treatment plan to move the client toward the desired change. We are especially interested in providers who specialize in child/adolescent therapy and/or therapists who are certified to work with substance abuse concerns.

Responsibilities
Provides clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental health needs of clients across the lifespan. This position works closely with the client to develop the appropriate treatment plan to move the client toward the desired change.
- Attends regular team meetings and participate in clinical case discussions
- Engages in comprehensive and timely documentation
- Maintains minimum direct service hour expectations
- Attends staff meetings, in-services and other program activities as requested
- Serve as on-call therapist approximately 2-3 weeks per year
- Represent the clinic and its mission and values to other agencies and the general public
- Master’s Degree
- Unrestricted licensure in the state of Wisconsin as LPC, LCSW or LMFT
- Ability to work in collaboration with a variety of disciplines including case managers, psychotherapists, and body-centered therapists
- Experience working with children, families and adults with serious mental health and/or substance use concerns in a community setting
- Knowledge of and demonstrated skill in providing culturally sensitive, trauma-informed services
- Strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be flexible and creative
- Ability to utilize Telehealth platforms for psychotherapy and clinic meetings as necessary
Preferred
- Training and experience in body-centered modalities such as EMDR, sensorimotor psychotherapy, somatic experiencing, yoga therapy or similar
- Credentialed in good standing with Dane County’s Comprehensive Community Services
