Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a licensed mental health clinician to provide assessment, diagnosis, and outpatient psychotherapy for adults and children. You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to plan and direct individualized treatment plans.

The role requires a master's degree in social work or related field, California licensure (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC), and NPI. You will supervise staff and coordinate with community resources in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Social Work, Social Welfare (clinical track) or related field.
• Licensed clinician in California (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC) within 24 months of hire.
• NPI required at hire.
• Familiarity with DSM‑V diagnostic criteria.
• Experience assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and board standards.
• Proficiency in individual, family, and group psychotherapy.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate clinical treatment programs for members with mental illness.
• Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families on adherence to treatment and medications.
• Prepare intake summaries, treatment and case plans, and confidential records.
• Collaborate with physicians to screen and evaluate psychotropic medications.
• Supervise junior clinicians as needed.
• Support families with treatment explanations and adherence strategies.
• Refer members to external resources as appropriate.
