Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a licensed mental health clinician to provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and crisis intervention for adult and child members. The role collaborates with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to plan and direct each member's treatment program.

Responsibilities include outpatient psychotherapy, intake and treatment planning, and coordination with public and private resources. Licensure in California and familiarity with DSM-V are required.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Work or related clinical field from an accredited program.
• Must be licensed in California as LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC with relevant endorsements.
• Familiarity with DSM-V and broad range of psychiatric conditions.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates clinical treatment programs for diagnosis and treatment of plan members with mental illness.
• Provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families and groups.
• Prepare intake summaries, treatment plans, and maintain confidential records per regulations.
• Collaborates with physicians and health professionals to plan and direct treatment.
• May supervise licensed junior clinicians and participate in on-call rotation.
