Job summary

Achieve Beyond in Yonkers, NY is seeking a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) to join a pediatric therapy team. The LMSW will deliver ABA services in homes, clinics and community settings and collaborate with supervisors to support children with special needs and their families.

The role requires NY LMSW licensure, a passion for working with children, and flexibility in scheduling. Travel to cases in Yonkers and surrounding areas is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Licensed LMSW in New York required or in process.
• 1–2 years working with children birth–5 is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities For a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)

• Provide ongoing special instruction and/or ABA services to children (ages birth-3) in their most natural environment.
• Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
• Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.

Requirements For a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)

• Must have a passion for working with children and families!
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of New York
• 1-2 years of experience working with children birth5 is preferred but not necessary
• Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to:
• Driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.

Starting Rate

Hourly$52.00-$55.00

Compensation is determined based on experience and education and will be discussed during theLicensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)Job interview process.
