Job summary

The NYS Office of Children and Family Services seeks a social worker to join an interdisciplinary treatment team serving at-risk youth across a variety of settings. You will provide a full range of social work services and exercise independent professional judgment on complex cases.

Qualifications

• License and current LMSW registration in New York State.
• Must maintain a valid New York State license and registration.
• This position may be designated 55 b/c and is subject to verification of applicant eligibility.
• Preferred Qualification: Fluency in Spanish Language.

Responsibilities

• Function as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team in providing a full range of social work services for at-risk youth in a variety of settings.
• Handle complex issues and exercise independent professional judgment in performing those duties.
• May be required to supervise and train staff.
• Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
