Job summary

Tanner-Health-1 is seeking a dedicated Master’s-level Social Worker to assess psychosocial factors and participate in treatment planning for patients and families. The role requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Applicants should have a Master’s in Social Work and at least one year of hospital experience, with availability for flexible scheduling including evenings and pager rotations.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Social Work required.
• Experience - minimum of one year in hospital or medical setting.
• Ability to deal comfortably with people in emotional need in a competent, calm manner.
• Proficiency in communication skills at all levels.
• Proficiency in observation, assessment and problem-solving skills.
