We're looking for a Licensed Master Social Worker for our client with a leading hospital in Bronx, NY.

Position: Licensed Master Social Worker

Location: Bronx, NY

Duration: 3 months contract with extension possibilities.

Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours a week

Pay: $58-60/hr

Job Duties:

The IMPACT social worker in Women’s Health will carry a caseload of approximately 25 patients and will work weekdays, Tour II, from 9 am – 5 pm.

The IMPACT social worker will engage prenatal and postpartum patients in psychoeducation and therapeutic services around perinatal mood disorders, as well as provide some case management services.

The social worker will also screen for acuity of mental health symptoms, provide crisis intervention, and refer cases to Reproductive Psychiatry and/or CPEP if needed.

Currently, the Women’s Health Service is staffed by a social work supervisor, two Women’s Health social workers, a caseworker, an IMPACT CLW, a Maternal Medical Home social worker, and an MHSC Collaborative Care social worker.

Experience required:

At least 1 year of experience.

Education Required:

Licensed Master Social Worker (000553)

Valid Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) license issued by NYSED, Primary Source Verification
