Job summary

Maryland Psychiatric Care, LLC is seeking a compassionate LMSW to provide comprehensive social work services to individuals, families, and communities within our Maryland practice. You will assess, address, and manage social and emotional needs of our diverse client population.

Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, care planning with the interdisciplinary team, counseling and crisis intervention, and guidance through social service systems.

Qualifications

• Must hold LMSW licensure or be credentialed in social work.
• Experience in psychosocial assessments and care planning.
• Ability to provide counseling and crisis intervention.
• Familiarity with navigating social services and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' strengths, challenges, and support systems.
• Develop individualized care plans with clients, families and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention for mental health, trauma, or related issues.
• Guide clients through social service systems, housing, healthcare, and community resources.
• Advocate for clients' rights and coordinate with community organizations and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate electronic records of assessments, progress notes and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses and other providers for coordinated care.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and stay informed on best practices and regulations.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records of client assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
