Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Master’s Social Worker in Case Management to support clients and families through challenging medical situations, coordinating programs to improve quality of life. You’ll interview clients, plan individualized care, provide crisis intervention, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care.

A MSW with SC LSW/LCSW and BLS is required. This role emphasizes advocacy, crisis response, and navigating social and practical impacts

Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited School of Social Work.
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in South Carolina (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) (required).

As a Master’s Social Worker in our Case Management Department, you’ll play a vital role in supporting clients and their families through some of life’s most challenging moments. You’ll be a trusted guide—helping them navigate the emotional, social, and practical implications of medical situations while coordinating meaningful programs and services that improve quality of life.
