The Portland Regency Hotel & Spa in Portland, ME, is seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our spa team. This part-time role requires weekend availability and offers commission-based pay with percentages for each service.

As a Massage Therapist, you will deliver Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Pregnancy, Aroma, Foot, and Chair massages, while maintaining guest confidentiality and spa protocols. You will also support operations and promote retail products to enhance guest experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Maine Massage Therapy License required.
• 1+ year of professional spa or clinical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of a wide range of massage and body techniques.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal protocols accurately.
• Must be reliable, professional, and maintain appropriate personal presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of treatments, including: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Pregnancy, Aroma, Foot, and Chair Massage.
• Maintain professionalism and guest confidentiality at all times.
• Follow established spa protocols, including proper draping and treatment choreography.
• Review intake forms, identify contraindications, and adjust services as needed.
• Maintain treatment rooms and equipment in a clean, sanitary, and organized manner.
• Recommend additional treatments and retail products to enhance the guest experience.
• Support spa operations by restocking, cleaning, and assisting with special events or promotions.
• Support spa desk operation shifts.
• Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and periodic spa promotions.
