Skin Sense, a premier day spa in Raleigh, NC, seeks a part-time in-house Massage Therapy Trainer to mentor our team and expand our Skin Sense protocols. You will train therapists while actively practicing a minimum of three shifts per week in the spa to stay connected with current techniques.

Applicants must hold a NC massage license with 5+ years of experience and have prior experience teaching massage protocols.

Location Requirement: Candidates for the Massage Therapist Training position must either currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Raleigh/Triangle area in order to be considered. Position Overview: Do you love teaching advanced modalities and protocols? This highly flexible part-time position involves developing and training our massage therapist team in Skin Sense protocols. We’ll provide the “Train the Trainer” program, along with resources and mentorship, to ensure you succeed in this role. To ensure the team's success, is crucial that you actively engage by working as a therapist in the spa for a minimum of three shifts per week. You must be locally based in the Raleigh/Durham/triangle area or willing to relocate before starting in this role. Your consistent presence is essential, as being out of sight can lead to being out of mind, which can impact the team's overall effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: • Implement effective teaching strategies for all skill levels, fostering a welcoming and positive environment. • Instruct advanced massage modalities and Skin Sense protocols. • Assess and evaluate new massage therapists and potential hires. • Schedule and conduct protocol trainings, culminating in a final test to ensure proficiency. • Collaborate with spa management to develop and revise protocols. • Maintain professional and ethical standards of conduct at all times.
