Hand & Stone Gaithersburg - The Kentlands is expanding our team of talented Massage Therapists to better serve our valued members and guests. We have both FULL TIME and PART TIME hours available!

Our Massage Therapists are passionate about the benefits therapeutic massage can offer our members and guests, and design specific sessions based on each individual guest's needs. They work with a focus on educating members and guests about progressive treatment options and advanced modalities, including our Signature Hot Stone Massage, Himalayan Salt Stone Massage, and more, to create a customized long-term wellness plan.

As a Massage Therapist, you will:

1. Maintain an active Massage Therapy license, and adhere to state/county licensing laws and regulations
2. Carry your own liability insurance, or obtain liability insurance prior to your first day of training
3. Create a world-class client experience through a friendly and helpful attitude
4. Have a core understanding and belief in the healing benefits of anatomy, massage therapy, and bodywork

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive compensation package designed to reward your contributions and drive your success:

1. Base Salary: Enjoy a base service (50-minute Swedish massage) rate ranging from $20.00-$25.00, tailored to reflect your experience and skills.
2. Commission: Benefit from our uncapped commission structure, providing substantial earning potential based on your sales performance. Upgrades range from $3-$8, depending on the service.
3. Tips: Enjoy average tips ranging from 18% to 25% of the nonmember price.

Total Average Earnings: With our competitive base rate and uncapped commission structure, our full-time high performing Massage Therapists typically earn an average total annual compensation ranging from $65,000 to $88,000, depending on individual performance (based on 30 service hours/week). Our part-time high performing Massage Therapists typically earn an average total annual compensation ranging from $33,000 to $44,000, depending on individual performance (based on 15 service hours/week).
