Position Summary

The Massage Therapist provides various massage therapy services and treatments that complement fitness programs, improve overall well-being, and enhance the guests' fitness experience while embodying the mission, vision, and core values of LifeSpa and Salon. They build relationships with other departments and educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy. They design sessions based on guests' specific needs and suggest schedules for recurring sessions. They collaborate with the entire LifeSpa and Salon team to deliver a superior professional experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and serve members in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide individualized massage therapy services meeting clients' needs and expectations
• Develop and maintain personalized client relationships
• Educate clients on LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the spa and salon
• Expertly analyze muscles and bodies, and recommend maintenance regimens
• Promote and sell massage therapy services, encouraging repeat business
• Stay current with certifications and industry trends

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Massage Therapy License
• Ability to perform all types of massage services
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions
• Knowledge of basic PC operations
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, lift, and move up to 50 pounds

Preferred Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional massage experience
• Knowledge of body treatments
• Experience with Salon Biz software
