Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our new location in Oak Lawn. As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patient's individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team.

Position Requirements:

1. Must be licensed/certified to provide massage services in this locality. Must present a certificate during the interview process and maintain it throughout employment if hired.
2. Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage.
3. Knowledge of other modalities (Prenatal, Sports, Stretching Techniques, etc.).
4. Understand and believe in the benefits of massage therapy.
5. Excellent guest service skills.
6. Dedicated professional that is motivated and has a great positive attitude.
7. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
8. Must be able to work at least one PM and one weekend shift (Sat and Sun counts as a weekend shift).

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill room resetting tasks and all massage service protocols. Requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
