Job summary

Discovery Land Company is seeking a licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) at Moncayo Golf & Ocean Club, Fajardo, Puerto Rico. You will consult with members, assess needs, and guide treatment selections within the Wellness Department to create memorable spa experiences.

You must hold a state license, have at least two years of experience, and bring exceptional people skills. Flex hours including evenings and weekends are required; professional, discreet service is expected.

Qualifications

• State licensure to practice as a Massage Therapist.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required; additional degrees/certifications preferred.
• Minimum two years experience as a Massage Therapist or Spa/Beauty Therapist.
• Prior experience in luxury resorts, spas, or private clubs preferred.
• Outstanding people skills and a warm, friendly personality.
• Knowledge of spa services and product lines; skincare knowledge highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients warmly and guiding them to treatment rooms.
• Adhering to appointment times and scheduling.
• Engaging with clients during sessions based on interests and preferences.
• Maintaining knowledge of Spa Menu and products to relay information.
• Conducting health and skincare consultations prior to services.
• Providing massages and body treatments per Spa Menu and standards.
• Offering post-treatment care recommendations and retail support.
• Developing professional client relationships and promoting additional services and products.
• Maintaining treatment records and confidentiality.
