Job summary

Utopia Salon & Spa in Vineland, NJ seeks a licensed Massage Therapist to provide customized massage services and wellness planning. Must hold current state license and CPR/First Aid/AED certification, with experience in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Hot Stone, and Integrated modalities.

The role offers an hourly base with commission/tips, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement in a high-demand spa setting.

Qualifications

Hold current state license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy.
Current CPR / First Aid / AED certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Capable of performing deep tissue, Swedish, Integrated, Hot Stone, and maternity massage modalities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting.

Responsibilities

Provide customized therapeutic massage services including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Hot Stone, and Integrated modalities.
Perform client intake assessments, review health history forms, and identify contraindications prior to service.
Assess soft tissue condition, range of motion, posture, and muscle tension to tailor services appropriately.
Develop and recommend individualized treatment plans and continued wellness strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely client service documentation.
Ensure treatment rooms are properly prepared, sanitized, and stocked in accordance with state regulations and spa standards.
Educate guests on self-care, retail products, and follow-up services when appropriate.
Collaborate with other spa professionals to deliver a seamless, team-based guest experience.
Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.
Uphold established quality, safety, and guest service standards.
