The Opportunity

Spavia Stamford is hiring full-time and part-time Licensed Massage Therapists who want a stable schedule, loyal guests, and the opportunity to deepen their skills in a supportive spa setting. Our membership model means guests return regularly, so you can build ongoing relationships and see the progress of your work over time.

This role lets you focus on what you do best—delivering exceptional massage and bodywork—while we handle marketing, scheduling, and supplies. You’ll have paid in-house training and CE hours, room to learn new modalities, and a team that values professionalism, kindness, and growth.

What You'll Do

• Deliver customized massage sessions, including Swedish, deep tissue, salt stone, prenatal, and other specialty services based on guest needs and preferences.
• Recommend appropriate enhancements (such as cupping and CBD) and memberships that support guests’ long-term wellness goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment room to ensure a consistent, luxury-level guest experience.
• Document each session with simple SOAP notes to track guest progress and personalize future visits.
• Collaborate with a professional, team-oriented staff to uphold Spavia’s standards of care, safety, and guest satisfaction.

What Success Looks Like

• Build a regular base of returning guests who request you by name and maintain strong satisfaction scores.
• Consistently deliver a full schedule of quality services within typical 5–6 hour shifts, averaging four to five 60-minute massages.
• Effectively incorporate enhancements and wellness recommendations that improve guest outcomes and contribute to your overall earnings.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and positive teamwork, becoming a trusted member of the Spavia Stamford spa community.

• Active Massage Therapy license in CT and a commitment to safe, ethical practice.
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented approach, with strong communication and punctuality.
• A calm, caring presence and genuine passion for helping guests reduce stress, relieve pain, and improve overall wellness.
• Comfort working a mix of shifts, with weekend and evening availability preferred to meet guest demand.

Compensation and Benefits

• Experienced therapists at 30 hours per week (80% scheduled) earn $70,000–$75,000+ annually, plus extra pay from enhancements, retail sales, and bonuses.
• Paid in-house training and CE hours; family and friends treatment discounts; PTO (4 hours per month for full-time); 401(k) with up to 5% employer match; PrimeCare healthcare benefits.
• W‑2 position with full-time or part-time options, with marketing and supplies provided so you can focus on massage.
• Steady, predictable shifts of approximately 5–6 hours with 10-minute turnover between services.
