The studio is open seven days a week by appointment only, offering flexible scheduling and a consistent flow of clientele for massage therapists.

Role Description

This part-time, on-site Licensed Massage Therapist role is based at SOMA Therapeutic Massage in St Louis, MO. The therapist will provide professional therapeutic and deep tissue massage sessions tailored to client needs, including assessment of client concerns, selection of appropriate techniques, and delivery of safe, effective bodywork. Daily responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, managing appointment timing, and documenting sessions as required. The role involves communicating clearly with clients about goals, aftercare, and stress management, as well as upholding studio policies, professional ethics, and state regulations. The therapist will collaborate with the studio owner and colleagues to support a positive client experience and maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in therapeutic massage modalities, including deep tissue work and body massage techniques.
• Ability to support client stress management through appropriate massage techniques, relaxation strategies, and clear communication.
• Excellent customer service skills, including professionalism, empathy, active listening, and respectful client interaction.
• Current state license as a Massage Therapist in Missouri and adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards.
• Capacity to work part-time, including evenings or weekends as needed, and reliably manage scheduled appointments.
