JOB DESCRIPTION—Weekend availability is required

• Performquality therapeutic bodywork that meets clients' needs including Enhancements: which will include essential oils, Prossage Oil, Biofreeze, massage lotion, sugar scrub, Hypervolt percussion instrument.
• Be able to perform back-to-back massages (based on the information you provided upon hire).
• Active listening, evaluating client satisfaction
• Recommend follow up visit frequency.
• Customizingmassage services within Massage Envy's policies, protocols, and approved modalities to craft truly personalized sessions, while taking into consideration any contraindications they may have.
• Help clients understand the benefits of regular massage
• Be able to effectively and concisely convey treatment findings and a return date.

WHAT ELSE THE JOB ENTAILS:

• Body Positioning for shift: mostly standing/bending and other body positions associated with massaging and modalities for the duration of your shift with some seated services.
• General cleaning and disinfecting of treatment room, including trash removal. Changing table linens for each client.
• Safeguardingthe client experience, maintaining client confidentiality, and upholding our commitment to safety.

BASIC SKILLS NEEDED

• 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge and structure of English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
• Reading Comprehension, Writing
• Speaking (being able to convey information effectively).
