Who are we?

Heal Pgh is a family-owned spa & clinic in the process of expanding. We focus primarily on orthopedic and neurological acupuncture and highly-skilled massage, bodywork, and luxe spa bodywrap services. Established in 2017, our clinic is well known in Pittsburgh’s Northside. It is run by Amy Green, a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist, and Ian Green, a professional artist and musician. Our team includes dedicated massage therapists, acupuncturists, and staff committed to providing excellent treatments and experiences.

We are opening a new location on the Ohio River in the Northside and seek to expand our team. We support and train newly graduated therapists to develop into Pittsburgh’s skilled bodyworkers.

Therapist Position

Minimum of 4 shifts per week, with at least one on a weekend and one in the evening. Shifts are 8-2 or 2-8 on weekdays, and 10-5 on weekends. Early and late shifts are available.

Ideal candidates do not need extensive professional experience but must be:

• Passionate and eager to learn
• Capable of delivering effective deep tissue work with appropriate pressure
• Positive and professional even on challenging days
• Maintaining appropriate boundaries with clients and staff
• Comfortable recommending follow-up treatments
• Responsible in communication with clients and team
• Reliable in transportation
• Open to mastering specialties over time

Compensation and Benefits

Starting commission depends on skill set and training needs, with potential increases as competencies grow. Therapists offering all core treatments within 6 months can earn between $1100-$1300 weekly plus tips, with hourly rates from $39-$55.

Minimum 26 hours/week allows health insurance (50% of premium paid), paid time off, uniforms, and on-site training. After 1 year, we cover licensing, malpractice, CPR, and CE costs. Weekly pay via direct deposit, plus vision, dental, and supplemental insurances. Holiday bonuses are included.

Continuing Education

We support ongoing learning through on-the-job training, workshops, and coverage of CE costs for modalities used in our clinic, fostering professional growth.

Location

Our clinic is in a renovated factory along the Ohio River in Northside, with scenic views and upcoming developments. Parking is free, accessible by elevator, and conveniently located near major highways.
