BLOOM Skin + Wellness in Oxford, CT seeks a licensed massage therapist to join its boutique studio. You will deliver Swedish, deep tissue and other therapies, tailoring sessions to client needs while maintaining high standards of professionalism and care.

We support you with booking and marketing, offer a commission-based compensation model plus 100% client tips, and a private treatment space that fosters relaxation and consistent client growth.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current credentials and certifications.
• Proven experience in modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, sports, prenatal and medical massage.
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy and medical terminology to assess client needs.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism.
• Connecticut requires license and professional liability coverage of at least $250,000 per occurrence and $1 million aggregate.

Job Description

BLOOM skin + wellness is a boutique skin, scalp, and wellness studio located in Quarry Walk in Oxford, CT. We are currently looking for a licensed massage therapist to join our growing team.

We are receiving consistent requests for full-body massage services and are looking for someone who is experienced, professional, warm, and aligned with our relaxing, elevated approach to wellness.

This is a great opportunity for a massage therapist who wants to grow within an established spa environment without having to handle all of the marketing, booking, and client acquisition on their own.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure effective pain management
• Communicate clearly with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and set realistic wellness goals
• Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment notes in compliance with health regulations
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to sanitation standards and following all licensing requirements
• Stay informed about the latest techniques in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance service quality
• Promote client retention through excellent customer service and professional client communication

Requirements
