Remedy Wellness in the Upper West Side is seeking a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist for independent contractor work in our thriving studio.

You will provide a range of massage modalities, assess clients, and tailor treatments to individual needs, while maintaining detailed records and adhering to health regulations.

Flexible late afternoon and early evening hours on Tue, Fri, and Sat, with competitive hourly pay starting at $70.

Formación

• NY Licensed Massage Therapist with proven professional experience.
• Experience across Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, prenatal and medical massage.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Prenatal Massage, Manual Lymph Drainage, and Medical massage modalities.
• Conduct comprehensive client assessments.
• Apply thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure safe and effective treatments tailored to client health conditions.
• Communicate clearly with clients to understand concerns, explain procedures, and offer post-session care guidance.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments, progress notes, and outcomes in compliance with health regulations.
• Ensure client comfort and safety by adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols.
• Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and advances in medical terminology related to occupational health and pain management.

Seeking a passionate and highly skilled NYS Licensed Massage Therapist for independent contractor work at our thriving UWS therapeutic massage studio.

Your expertise in various massage techniques, thorough understanding of human physiology and previous professional experience will ensure each client receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs. Duties

Qualifications

• Valid NYC massage therapy license with proven experience delivering high-quality services in a professional setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, prenatal massage, and medical massage.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Certification in CPR.
• Professional Liability Insurance.
• Ability to maintain professionalism while creating a welcoming environment that fosters trust and relaxation for clients.

Additional Information

• Part time, starting at $70 per hour of massage performed.
• Must be available for late afternoon & early evening hours on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
