Role Description The Licensed Massage Therapist at Seluh provides high-quality, client-centered bodywork to support relaxation, stress relief, and overall wellness. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough client consultations, performing customized massage sessions, and maintaining accurate treatment notes. The therapist will collaborate with the team to create a consistent, welcoming experience, uphold cleanliness and safety standards, and recommend appropriate services or products. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Lawrence, MA, requiring availability for evenings and/or weekends depending on client demand.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver professional, empathetic Customer Service, ensuring each guest feels welcomed, respected, and supported.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage techniques tailored to individual client needs and wellness goals.
• Experience or training in Shiatsu or similar modalities that enhance holistic bodywork offerings.
• Skills in Stress Management support, including educating clients on relaxation techniques and wellness practices.
• Active state license as a Massage Therapist (or eligibility to obtain in Massachusetts).
• Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical practice standards.
• Strong communication skills and an interest in working in a collaborative, inclusive wellness environment.
• Comfort with working on-site, consistently following sanitation and safety protocols.
