Job summary

PalmLeaf Massage and Wellness in Kent, Ohio is seeking a full-time massage therapist to perform 15, 30, or 45 minute sessions under the supervision of our chiropractor. We offer myofascial release, deep tissue, and neuromuscular therapies in a small woman-owned clinic.

Pay is hourly and is based on experience. During downtime you may perform light cleaning duties and we reimburse continuing education (CE) credits.

Qualifications

• Be able to perform 15, 30, or 45 minute massages as directed by the chiropractor.
• Light cleaning duties during downtime between patients.
• Office hours may require staying later than posted times as the last appointment ends.

Responsibilities

• Provide 15/30/45 minute massages to patients in the designated treatment area under supervision.
• Assist with light cleaning duties to maintain office cleanliness.

Job description

*YOU WILL BE COMPENSATED WHEN NOT MASSAGING. IN BETWEEN PATIENTS OR EVEN IF A PATIENT DOES NOT SHOW UP, YOU WILL STILL BE PAID HOURLY.

We are a small woman owned business and busy chiropractic office that provides myofascial release, deep tissue, and neuromuscular therapies to our patients under the supervision of our chiropractor. We offer 15, 30, & 45 min massages. Pay is based off of experience, we are paying hourly. We also offer reimbursement for CE classes. During downtime there is some light cleaning duties we ask everyone to help out with to help maintain the cleanliness of the office.

Our hours are as follows: We are always off on weekends and all major holidays!!!
Monday: 12pm-6pm*
Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday: 10-1pm* & 3-6pm*
Friday: 10am-3pm*

* means you may be required to stay later than our posted office hours as we take our last appointment at that time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Be able to perform either 15, 30, or 45 mins of massage to our patients in the designated area that is being asked of you to work on by our chiropractor Dr. Amber Aiken.
Perform some light cleaning duties during downtime in between patients or before leaving the office for the day.
