Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team and provide clients with personalized, high-quality therapeutic massage services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques, be able to assess client needs effectively, and have a passion for promoting relaxation and overall wellness.

As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for ensuring each client receives a tailored massage experience that enhances their well-being, reduces stress, and helps alleviate any physical discomfort or tension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Therapeutic Massage Services: Perform a variety of massage techniques (including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and trigger point) based on client needs and preferences.
• Client Consultations: Conduct initial assessments of clients to understand their physical condition, preferences, and any areas of discomfort.
• Maintain Client Records: Keep accurate records of each client’s treatment history, including techniques used and any feedback given during sessions.
• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Tailor each massage session to meet the client’s specific needs, including addressing muscle tension, stress, or injuries.
• Ensure a Safe, Relaxing Environment: Create a calm, clean, and inviting atmosphere for clients, maintaining high standards of hygiene and comfort.
• Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Continuously update knowledge of new massage techniques and wellness trends to provide the best care to clients.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns with professionalism and care.
• Compliance with Safety Standards: Ensure all treatments comply with health and safety regulations.
• Qualifications:
• Certification/License: Must be a licensed massage therapist in South Carolina, with certification in a recognized massage therapy program.
• Experience: A Minimum of 1 year of experience in providing therapeutic massage is preferred. Experience in specialized techniques (e.g., prenatal, sports, cupping, or injury recovery) is a plus.
