About Our Spa:
Hi. I’m John the owner. I established this spa in 2020 to help people in our community improve their health and well-being at a reputable establishment. Five years later, we are doing well, and clients love our spa. In fact, they love it so much, we need more Massage Therapist help! So we are looking for a caring Licensed Massage Therapist that wants to work in and contribute to a positive, supporting environment. I, along with my manager and staff treat every guest and employee with respect, and the positive atmosphere this approach creates is enjoyed by all. You also have the opportunity to grow and learn from the other Massage Therapists we have on staff.

• Competitive Salary - In addition of a base pay of $25-$30/hr not including tips, our massage Therapists earn as much as $60-$70/hr with upgrade commissions, membership commissions and tips

Job Responsibilities:

• Design specific treatment plans based on client's individual needs.
• Create an excellent experience for members/guests through a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Generate new clientele by promoting member referrals and memberships.
• Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas.
• Maintain detailed treatment records

Job Requirements:

• Active MI massage license
• Carry massage liability insurance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, spa management and staff.
• Knowledge of Swedish Massage.
• Knowledge of other various modalities preferred (Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Deep Tissue). Hand and Stone offers training in all modalities to our team members!
• Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
