Role Description

This full-time, on-site Licensed Massage Therapist role is based at a Massage Envy franchised location in the Charlotte Metro area. The therapist provides professional bodywork services, including therapeutic massage and specialty modalities, tailored to each client's needs and wellness goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, developing personalized treatment plans, and maintaining accurate and confidential session documentation. The role involves collaborating with front-of-house team members to ensure smooth appointment flow, delivering excellent customer service, and promoting ongoing wellness through memberships and customized care recommendations. The therapist also maintains treatment room cleanliness, adheres to all safety and sanitation standards, and participates in continuing education and team meetings to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a client-centered approach.
• Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques and body massage for relaxation and targeted relief.
• Experience or training in Shiatsu or other specialized modalities that support whole-body wellness.
• Ability to support clients with stress management, including creating a calm environment and tailoring sessions to wellness goals.
• Current state license or certification as a Massage Therapist in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain), with compliance to all regulatory requirements.
