Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa at The Waverly Place in Cary, NC is seeking licensed massage therapists to join our team. We offer a healthy, healing environment with a strong member base and growth potential.

Part-time and full-time positions are available. We provide a competitive base compensation with an average tip, plus benefits such as 401(k), discounts, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Active NC Massage Therapist license in good standing.
• Carry massage therapy liability insurance.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients, spa management and staff.
• Knowledge of Swedish Massage required.
• Knowledge of other modalities preferred (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Craniosacral, Reiki, Deep Tissue), but not required. Hand and Stone offers training in all modalities to our team members!
• Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.

Responsibilities

• Customize treatment plans based on individual clients.
• Create an experience of peace and relaxation for members/guests/other spa professionals through a friendly and helpful approach.
• Generate return clientele by promoting member referrals and memberships.
• Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas within the spa.
