Job summary

Sports Physical Therapy is seeking a Licensed Massage Practitioner for our outpatient clinic. You will assess clients' conditions, discuss goals, and perform Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massage to relieve pain and tension.

Washington state license is required, and you will maintain records and ensure high standards of hygiene in a team with eight locations across the region.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
• Proficiency in a wide range of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' condition and medical history to determine best massage techniques.
• Consult with clients to discuss needs and goals and establish treatment plans.
• Perform Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal and other techniques to relieve pain and tension.
• Apply appropriate pressure and rhythm to create a relaxing therapeutic experience.
• Maintain accurate client records and track treatment progress.
• Follow hygiene and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean, safe environment.

Sports Physical Therapy is seeking an immediate hire for a Licensed Massage Practitioner in our friendly outpatient clinic.

• Assessing clients physical condition and medical history to determine the best massage techniques to use
• Consulting with clients to discuss their needs and preferences, and establishing treatment goals
• Performing various massage techniques, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and hot stone massage, among others, to relieve clients' pain, stress, and tension
• Using appropriate pressure, rhythm, and flow of strokes during the massage to create a relaxing and therapeutic experience for clients
• Maintaining accurate client records and documenting client progress to track treatment outcomes
• Following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited massage therapy program
• A valid license to practice massage therapy in Washington
• Proficiency in a wide range of massage therapy techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, and others.
