Licensed Massage Therapist – Clinical & Structural Bodywork (Asheville, NC)

Sama Therapeutics is an established clinical massage practice in Asheville and is currently seeking a skilled, motivated Licensed Massage Therapist to join the team as an independent contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist who is passionate about structural bodywork and enjoys working with clients dealing with chronic pain, injury recovery, or postural imbalances.

About the Practice:
With over seven years of experience in clinical massage therapy, I specialize in providing outcome-based bodywork to a loyal client base. The practice emphasizes professionalism, personalized care, and long-term wellness results. The space is calm, private, and fully equipped to support your work and your clients’ comfort.

Position Details:

• Independent contractor role with a 60/40 split (therapist retains 60%)
• Potential to transition to an employee as your practice grows
• Flexible scheduling – choose the days and hours that suit your needs
• Private, furnished treatment room with table, linens, supplies
• Online booking and client management software included
• Marketing support and client overflow provided
• Opportunities for mentorship and skill development in clinical/structural bodywork

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a current North Carolina Massage and Bodywork Therapy License
• Has a strong interest in clinical massage modalities such as deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, visceral manipulation or similar
• Demonstrates professionalism, strong communication skills, and a client-centered approach
• Is self-motivated and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of care
• Interested in long-term growth within a supportive and evolving practice
