Mexia Massage & Bodywork in Washington, DC, is seeking a confident DC Licensed Massage Therapist to join our well-established practice at Logan Circle. This is an independent contractor role with a 70/30 split, providing Swedish and Deep Tissue massage in a 5-star studio.

Therapists are responsible for their own taxes and health insurance, with a monthly studio fee of $750 that covers utilities, website presence, scheduling, payments, and more.

Mexia Massage & Bodywork is seeking a confident, professional DC Licensed Massage Therapist to join our well-established practice in the heart of Washington, DC.

Mexia is a 5-star Google-reviewed, Best of DC massage studio known for high-quality therapeutic bodywork, personalized care, and a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Location: 1405 Rhode Island Avenue NW, Basement Level, Washington, DC

The Opportunity

Monthly Studio Fee: $750, which includes:

• Utilities and massage supplies
• Website presence, booking and scheduling
• Payment processing and statements
• Laundry service
• Unlimited studio access

For sessions booked through Mexia, therapists receive 70% of the session rate and Mexia retains 30% to support the studio’s booking, payment, administrative, marketing, and operational infrastructure.

60 minutes — $150 | Therapist earns $105

90 minutes — $225 | Therapist earns $157.50

Therapists also keep 100% of their gratuities, including tips received through Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or cash.

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. Therapists are responsible for their own taxes and health insurance.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is confident, energetic, dependable, clean, organized, and client-focused. A current DC massage therapy license is required.
